Because family means everything to you. Whether your kids are still little or they are all grown up.
This time in our lives goes way too fast! Your kids are constantly growing and changing, and you think you’ll remember exactly how they are as if it were yesterday. But if you’re anything like me, you soon realise that didn’t happen.
I really wish I had kept a journal of all the cute and amazing little things Emmy did as she grew. Just the everyday things that would happen that I took for granted. I was so sure I would never forget the way she did something or the way she mispronounced certain words, or the phrases she would say. But the truth is that they start doing something new and cute and before you know it you have forgotten what it was you thought you could never forget!
By capturing and documenting different stages in your family journey, you’ll be grateful for photos of your children when you forget exactly how small their hand was in yours.
You have two options for your family photography session; a studio session in our light-filled Pakenham studio, or a sunset outdoor session in a beautiful local spot in areas of Berwick, Beaconsfield, Pakenham and Emerald. Studio sessions include access to our client closet which has a selection of beautiful gowns for Mums, and a small collection of clothing for little ones. Otherwise, you may have an outfit you would feel more comfortable in, and I can provide styling advice if you would like to wear something of your own.
Generally, I suggest you stick with neutral, muted, earthy or pastel tones, as loud colours, bold patterns, and large logos do not photograph well. For men and boys, simple chinos and a plain t-shirt works well for warmer weather, and being Melbourne you may want to layer up with some knits.
Family sessions are relaxed and playful and include a whole lot of laughter, cuddles and fun. They aim to showcase the connection that your family has with one another as well as capture each of your individual personalities.
If there is a local park, beach or any other location that is important to you, please let me know. Otherwise, I have lots of beautiful locations to choose from.
Family photography sessions are $150. The session fee is due at the time of booking to reserve your place on our calendar. Your session fee includes your pre-session planning and styling advice, your photography session, access to studio wardrobe, image processing, and a private online gallery to preview your images. Digital files, prints and products are ordered separately after you preview the finished images from your session.
The session fee is separate to any print or image package so you are not locked into any particular package and can decide how many images you want after seeing them, and deciding how you want to display them in your home after viewing our sample products. Contact me
The first step is to get in contact with me! We will have a chat to work out the perfect type of session for you and your family. Next, we will book in your session date and your session fee will be due to secure this date.

02.
Pre-session
After booking I will send you a questionnaire to get to know you and your family, as well as a preparation guide for your session. We will chat about location, styling, and the products you want, and go through any questions you may have.
03.
Your session
This is the fun bit! The day you have been waiting for!
Come into the studio, or we will meet at the location for your outdoor shoot, and I will capture beautiful memories for you and your family. Sessions are relaxed, and I will guide you through your session with prompts and some fun along the way!
04.
View your photos
After your session, I get to work hand-editing your images. Approximately 3 weeks after your photography session you will see the finished images at your Viewing and Design appointment. Here you can select your favourite images and decide which Image Collection and printed products you’d love to purchase.
05.
Collect your products
You will be able to download your chosen high-resolution digital files straight to your computer and when your beautiful artwork or albums are ready, I will get in touch for you to come and collect these from the studio.
