Your Newborn and Family photographer in Melbourne
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m spending time with my little family.
I am a Mum to Emilia, our cheeky little toddler, dog-mum to Maverick our gorgeous Miniature Schnauzer, and wife to my amazing husband, Brad.
I’m the type person who stops and say “Hi” to dogs everywhere I go! I love to travel and get out in nature. My love of photography started at a very young age, I had an old kodak film camera and took a ridiculous amount of photos of my pets! Which all those years later I was thankful for so many photos (even if they weren’t amazing) of our little dog, Tiny, who we had to say goodbye to at the grand old age of 18. As I grew up, that camera became a digital camera that I took everywhere, camera’s on our phones weren’t really a thing then, or they were just really terrible. I love travelling and it’s something I spent a lot of my 20’s doing, taking photos of all these amazing places to show family and friends back home.
On my bucket list was to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, and as I was planning my trip to Tanzania along with climbing another mountain, safari and relaxing on Zanzibar, I felt me trust digital camera might not do justice to the scenery and wildlife. So I bought my first real DSLR camera and a few different lenses to make sure I had all my bases covered! I fell in love with not only Africa, but wildlife, landscape and astro photography. Capturing the stars from near the top of Kili was so exciting and I wanted to learn more and more about photography. When I got home, that is exactly what I did! I did workshops with Canon Australia, and private mentoring in landscape and wildlife photography while we lived in Brisbane.
I was always a big believer in work/life balance, and doing what you love. So I started to think about what were some career options in photography. Weddings was a no, dogs was a big yes, but I also had a few friends having babies, and after doing some education and safety training in newborn photography, I photographed my first baby for one of my best friends, and I absolutely loved it! So while working full time in cancer and palliative care research, I photographed babies, dogs and pregnant bellies in my spare time. I knew one day I wanted to be just doing photography. I worked in research for over 12 years, and although I loved it, and still do, my heart was pulling me to photography.
But on to the real reason you are here.

The studio has a Baby change table fully stocked with everything you may need during your session. We also offer bottled water, tea and coffee.
I know everyone wants to have digital images to share with family and friends; but I also want you to have precious pieces of art that you can display in your home, to look at every day, that will last for generations, and just not sit on a USB gathering dust in a drawer somewhere. We have a selection of Wall Art, Albums and Keepsake products on display in the studio to help you choose how to display and preserve your beautiful photos.
Did you know, that displaying your family portraits in your home helps boosts your child’s self esteem and confidence? It shows your child that they are important, they are valued, and shows just how proud you are of them! Cool, right? So…. print those photos! To best display your precious memories, I have curated a collection of beautiful products that will be treasured for generations to come.
I love looking back at my own baby and family photo albums, as well as my little girl Emmy’s baby photos, because let’s face it, those first few weeks are a huge sleep deprived blur. Let me document this incredible time so you have beautiful photographs to look back on in years to come and remember that beautiful baby bump and those precious tiny toes.
I can’t wait to capture this special moment in your life!
