Newborn baby photography sessions take place in our light-filled studio, located in Pakenham.
My sessions are baby-led; meaning there is no putting baby into props or awkward, unnatural positions, and we allow plenty of time for cuddles, feeding and changing as needed. The studio is kept nice and warm for the session, as this will keep your baby comfortable and help to settle them into those sweet natural poses. We have a collection of neutral wraps, blankets and outfits for styling the session, as well as a client closet with beautiful gowns for Mums to wear during their session.

If you know your due date, then now is the time to book your baby’s photography session. We only take a limited number of bookings each month to allow flexibility for those little ones who like to make an early entrance or are fashionably late.

Newborn photography sessions are for babies up to 3 months old.
The ideal time for capture your newborn baby’s’ portraits is when your baby is 5-17 days old. During this time they are sleepy and like to be in those sweet curly positions. We will capture those precious details that will change so quickly as they grow. That doesn’t mean we can’t capture your baby if they are older than two weeks, it just means they may be more alert and less sleepy. This can actually make for great images of your little one as they begin to engage with the world around them and start to smile!

The health and safety of your baby is the highest priority. Your baby will be supported into natural positions, we do not put the baby in any uncomfortable poses. The studio is kept nice and warm to keep your precious little bundle snug at all times.

Robyn is up to date with immunisations, such as whooping cough and Covid-19. We take your and your baby’s health seriously. If the situation arises where Robyn is unwell, your session will be rescheduled. As with yourselves, if someone in your household in unwell we will reschedule.

Your session fee is included in your gift certificate and includes your pre-session planning and styling advice, your photography session, access to studio wardrobe, image processing, and a Viewing and Design appointment to choose and purchase your favourite images and products..

Digital files, prints and products are ordered separately after you view the finished images from your session.
Your gift certificate includes $100 credit towards your chosen image collection.

The session fee is separate to any print or image package so you are not locked into any particular package and can decide how many images you want after seeing them, and deciding how you want to display them in your home after viewing our sample products.
